Delphine Lebourgeois is a French artist based in London UK who studied Fine Art in Ecole des Beaux Arts de Lyon and completed her Masters at Central St Martins in London.

Her work is primarily about being a woman today and is inspired by personal experience and the female cause and social movement in our society.

She works in various medium including digital, ink, watercolour, acrylic and screenprint with drawing at the core of her practice.

Through her latest collections, Witches (2020), All Hysterical (2021), and Delicacies (2023), she explores female repression from historical accounts right through our contemporary world and popular culture.

Her female characters often rebellious and portrayed marching as one, aim to empower and serve as an echo to the current liberation of women's speech.

Lebourgeois has collaborated with The New Yorker, The Guardian, Le Monde, Amnesty International, Soho House, EA Games and The Other Art Fair amongst others.
